Brinjals contains menstruation-stimulating compounds like phytohormones that in high amount may lead to miscarriage or abortion. Though eating eggplants once a week won’t affect you or the baby’s health to a huge extent. Still, avoiding the overeating this vegetable till the childbirth sounds a wise idea.
An expectant woman already faces a tough time; especially when it comes the dos, don’ts and the diet. Pregnant women are suggested to take rest as much as they can. This restricts their physical movement and causes acidity and gas. Eggplant adds to this inconvenience.
