A Simple Recipe: Fenugreek Seeds Sprouts/ Fresh Green Leaves
• 1 tablespoon oil
• 1 small finely chopped onion
• 1-2 finely chopped green chilies
• 3 finely chopped cloves of garlic
• 2 medium sized potatoes
• 1 medium sized chopped tomato
• 1 bunch of fresh fenugreek leaves / Fenugreek Seeds Sprouts
• ½ tablespoon turmeric powder
• Red chili powder as per your taste
• ½ tablespoon coriander powder
• Salt to taste.
Step 1: Cut the fenugreek leaves and wash them at least 2-3 times so that all the mud is removed. OR Take Fenugreek Sprouts (Recipe Explained above)
Step 2: Now place the leaves in a bowl and put some salt on them, mix it well and keep aside.
Step 3: Take a vessel and heat oil in it.
Step 4: Add finely chopped onions and let them become soft. Then add green chilies and garlic to it. Stir for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Add peeled and cubed potato and let it cook. Stir occasionally.
Step 6: Drain all the water from the fenugreek leaves, add it to the potatoes and mix it well.
Step 7: Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt and mix it well. Cover the vessel and let it cook for about 4-5 minutes.
Step 8: Now open the lid of the vessel and add chopped tomatoes, mix it well and turn off the gas. Let it rest for about 5-10 minutes.
